We started working with Vivid in 2013. At the time, they were marketing their properties themselves and found they were not selling their units quickly enough – but when they used a local estate agent they found they were being charged a huge fee and the quality of service was below what they expected. They simply found that the local agents did not have enough experience in Shared Ownership and could not answer the questions that customers needed to know.
They considered creating accounts with Rightmove and Zoopla, but were put off by the high costs and they did not have the resources to sift the huge volume of email enquiries, as well deal with the phones which would not stop ringing, or man the phones on evenings and weekends too.
When we first starting working with Vivid, initially we agreed to market their properties and answer the telephone and email enquiries and then pass them to their team.
Soon we started sending out information packs to the prospective buyers, and progressed to telephone assessments to check whether they fell within the financial criteria.
Since then we have gone on to regularly carry out open days, shows and offer assistance as and when needed.
In addition to the new builds, we also now also manage the resale homes from valuation through to completion as well as marketing rental properties when required.
We can offer an extra level of staffing where necessary – we know that sometimes the pressure is on when units are coming up to completion!
